Whether it's a shopping cart, telephone lines or a single bone, Justin finds inspiration from mundane subjects and figures and pushes them into works that aim to be aesthetically pleasing. With his background in marketing and advertising, Justin incorporates balanced compositions and graphic imagery to pull in the viewer in an attempt to get them to take a closer look at objects they may not give much thought to otherwise.
Justin enjoys exploring the intersection of artistic styles, media and materials and pulls inspiration from artists like Marcel Duchamp and Andy Warhol and their use of everyday objects as well as the forms and aesthetics of early Soviet artists like Vladimir Tatlin and Kasimir Malevich.
